7. My order uploaded but my shopping cart did not come up...what happened?
Sometimes security programs will block the opening of the shopping cart for you to complete your payment. There are two solutions to this problem. If you know the program causing the problem you can disable it for a short period of time. If not please note the time of your upload and a Job ID if one was provided for you. Submit a ticket to our support department by clicking here, (or Contact us at 800-385-3814 toll free) with this info (Job ID and time) and we will help you complete your order.
8. The shopping cart says that I was sent a confirmation e-mail but I haven't received one...will my order be completed?
Normally the e-mail has been sent but may have been filtered as spam or blocked by e-mail security. To confirm your order please contact us by submitting a ticket here with your name, Job ID, and a way to identify the photo books and calendar cards (i.e. cover page description) and we will confirm that we have received your order.
9. What kind of format do you accept and what resolution should my images have?
We accept JPEG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, PICT, PNG, PCT and PSD file formats in sRGB or up color space with 300 dpi resolution recommended. Higher resolution pictures will result in clearer pictures. We suggest the following resolutions for each print size. When naming your images, please avoid using special characters excluding hyphen (-) and underscore (_).
10. Why do I have to download two different softwares?
One software is for photobooks and the other one is for calendars/cards. You can download the software that best fits your need.
11. Can I cancel my order after uploading is complete?
Yes, but you MUST notify us via email or phone within one hour after the order is complete. We will be unable to issue a refund after that since your order will already be in process.
12. Why is my picture cropped or contain white borders?
This is a standard practice in the photo finishing industry. This is due to differences between the shape of most digital images (4x5.3") and the shape of standard print sizes (like 4x6", 5x7", and 8x10"). Downloading times it takes might varies from 30 minutes to 1 hour based on your internet speed.
The height and width of most digital images differ from the height and width of the print sizes we offer. Most digital cameras produce images that are slightly more square than a 4x6", so that they fit better on computer monitors. They are more rectangular than an 8x10" though. This makes it impossible to print the entire image without cropping it or padding it with a white border.
Original image:
Crop to fill:
-full frame borderless
-some portion might be cropped
"fit frame to image" feature is applied

15. How many products can I order from one shopping cart session?
There are no limited for how many products you can order at once. However, you can select up to 500 multiple quantities from each product only.
16. Do I need to resize images (if they are larger then 300DPI)?
No. The software will resize the images to fit 300DPI before creating the PDF file and sending to print.
17. The preview for my calendar looks out of order...why is that?
Certain calendar types (the center fold calendars) require double sided printing. In order to maintain the correct format for the printing, cutting and binding of the calendar, thus the pages may appear to be out of order. They are not. The purpose of the preview is for you to look at the calendar to determine if it is properly laid out: spelling, text positioning, correct image selection, overall layout.
On center-bound calendars, you have the option of including text or images on the back cover (the portion shown on the cover page above the binding that becomes the back cover when the calendar is folded). To do so, go to the calendar front page and add content to the top half portion of the cover page (above the binding) as you would to any other calendar page. DO NOT ROTATE the added content, as it will be properly situated on the final product.
18. How can I allow other people to be able to buy the photobook and calendar I made?
You will have to submit a support request here and we will email you back a link to a shopping cart with your calendar info pre-filled in. You can then send that link to other people to place an order for your calendar.
